About Mary-Margaret Lopez, LPC

I want to establish a genuine connection with you.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who’s passionate about helping teens and adults find more clarity, confidence, and compassion for themselves. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and my goal is to create a space where you don’t have to face those challenges alone.
I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and big life transitions. My approach is warm, conversational, and collaborative – I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine connection. Together, we’ll move at your pace and focus on what feels most meaningful to you.
In our work, I draw from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices to help you process the past, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with who you are in the present moment.
You can expect a space that feels safe, supportive, and deeply empathetic – a place to be yourself, explore what’s been holding you back, and start making the changes you’ve been hoping for.
Outside of therapy…
… I love spending time with my husband, Caleb, and our son, Louis. You’ll often find me at the gym, curled up with a good book, exploring local coffee shops, or soaking up time outdoors with my family.
